Gatundu South member of parliament, Moses Kuria, has refuted claims that he is planning to ditch the hustler nation camp, and instead join president Uhuru Kenyatta’s side. Kuria’s latest actions have raised eyebrows among political analysts.
The lawmaker has failed to attend two of the recent meetings held by the deputy president, something that has caused excitement among Uhuru allies. At times, the legislator has been attacking Ruto after his sentiments that UDA is not ready to form coalition with tribal parties.
However, speaking at Citizen TV on Tuesday evening, the legislator affirmed that his party, Chama Cha Kazi, is an associate of the hustler nation movement which supports William Ruto in his quest for presidency. He also vowed to continue supporting Ruto unless the DP himself blocks him from supporting him.
“Legally, I am a member of Jubilee party, but I am an affiliate of Chama Cha Kazi and that is the reality. Chama Cha Kazi and UDA share the same ideology in terms of the hustler nation. I still support the deputy president William Ruto.” Stated Kuria.
The lawmaker together with Kabando also agreed that Jubilee party is dead and can’t revamp again. Kuria noted that he will be leaving the party in the next few months.
