UDA Coordinator Meeting Held in Naivasha

Good morning members of the press.

We welcome you at this event here in Nakuru where we held a County Coordinators retreat that brought together all 47 county coordinators of United Democratic Alliance.

The retreat was to allow us share our experiences and forge a united future as we continue to strengthen the party. We are pleased to inform the country that the party continues to break its own targets of registering members. The county coordinators have resolved to aggressively work towards registering more members in their respective counties.

The county coordinators strongly associate with the Bottom-Up economic model by Deputy President His Excellency William Ruto as it resonates well with all Kenyans. The County Coordinators have resolved to market the model in their respective counties. We have resolved to aggressively campaign for the deputy president as the country prepares for the next general election.

The county coordinators have noted with concern the recent changes of security personnel at the residences of the Deputy President. The security of the Deputy President cannot be a subject of day to day politics in the country.

Let all know that the Deputy President, unlike the previous vice presidents who were appointed by the President, does not have a letter of appointment; he only got a certificate of election from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

The Inspector General of police and his puppet masters need to know no amount of intimidation and humiliation on the part of the deputy president will stop Kenyans from associating with him. Clearly, the antics of the last four years against the Deputy president have only strengthened him politically instead of weakening him as his detractors would have wished.

As the clock ticks towards the constitutional election date of August 9th 2022, Kenyans will be more vigilant and united in support for the deputy president and no amount of provocation will move them to accept the evil machinations by his detractors.

We urge the hustler nation to maintain peace despite the provocation and harassment being meted on the Deputy President for its darkest before dawn; daybreak is coming.
