There is established the National Women’s Congress. The women’s congress shall consist of.
i. The National Officials:
a. Secretary for Women Affairs and Gender as convener; and,
b. All Women National Leaders.

ii. Elected women party Governors, Senators or Members of Parliament and Members of County Assemblies.

iii. Women members of the County, Constituency and Ward Executive Committees.

The Secretary, Women Affairs and Gender shall convene the National Women Congress at least once every year in consultation with the NEC or from time to time as shall be directed by the National Executive Committee (NEC).

ARTICLE 13.1: Functions of the UDA NWC

The National Women Congress shall mobilize women to:

i. popularize the party and recruit members;
ii. articulate special interest and needs of women for incorporation into party policy;
iii. educate and sensitize women on party policies and the need for their participation in party and national matters;
iv. advise all party organs on matters relating to women; and,
v. such other roles as may be assigned by the NEC.
